About DCU Press

DCU Press is a non-profit open access publisher of peer-reviewed books. It supports the University’s mission to advance DCU’s research impact and transform lives and societies and reflects its commitment to Open Research.

The Press is a joint initiative of the Library and the Office of the Vice President for Research.

In support of the principles of open access and fostering a fair and inclusive publishing environment, DCU Press provides free, immediate global online access to all its publications. Print copies will be available for purchase by individuals or libraries via a print on demand (PoD) service.

All book proposals are reviewed by the DCU Press Editorial Board in the first instance. Proposals and manuscripts deemed suitable will be evaluated through a rigorous independent peer-review process managed through the Editorial Board. All recommendations to publish will be submitted to the Press Advisory Board for final approval.
